Our 61 Comet Awards Page 2 2005 & 2006 Annual Tasca Ford & Custom Car Show Our Comet won 2nd Place in the 8th & 9th Annual Tasca Ford & Custom Car Show. Our Comet was placed in the Miscellaneous Class both years. For some reason they started Comets at 1962! Next year they are suppose to add 60 and 61 to the Comet Class. I may not place then!   Yahoo Group Macsclubhouse September 2006 Car of the Month Our Comet was picked as Car of the Month in the Yahoo Group Macsclubhouse. Every month the group picks one car and in September 06 they picked our Comet! Below is the picture I entered. It's our B&W/Color pic of our Comet. Our car is in B&W and the rest of the picture is Color. We had a flyer dropped in our car when we were at a cruise night and it was for Jen's Place Thurday night cruise night. Now we had gone to this cruise night the year before only once. Our wife was looking at the flyer and eventually said. "Is that our Comet?" Sure enough once of the pictures in the flyer was our Comet from the one night we had gone! Here is a scan of the flyer.  |
